Carp eradition efforts have hit a temporary snag on Grand Lake St. Marys. According to Lake Restoration Commission manager Milt Miller, the company hired to track and harvest carp from the lake tore their nets on the lake's stumps during the harvesting process.
Miller believes there are at least a million pounds of carp in four areas around the lake, and is hopeful the harvesting will happen during Summer 2016.
