The Lake Improvement Association awarded Chad Mason the LIA/WOEF Scholarship at the non-profit organization's November 2, 2013 Member Meeting. Mason is a student at Wright State University-Lake Campus and is working toward his degree in paleontology.
Each year, the LIA and Western Ohio Educational Foundation partner to award a $1,000 scholarship to a student who is working toward a degree in a biology or environment related field.
