Crappie USA, the nation’s largest crappie fishing tournament series, will make its return to Grand Lake St. Marys on April 15 and 16, 2016, with a two-day Super Event that promises fun for budding crappie enthusiasts and seasoned anglers alike.

Boasting cash and prize paybacks totaling $10,000, the Crappie USA Two-Day Super Event is brought to you by NKTelco and BrushPile Fishing, the popular World Fishing Network and NKT.tv television program hosted by St. Marys native Russ Bailey, and sponsored locally by the Lake Improvement Association, Bud’s Chrysler, Bayview Sun & Snow, Reliable Tent Rental and Celina Eagles/Mercer County Civic Foundation. Qualifying anglers, whether amateur or pro, will advance to the $100,000 Cabela’s Crappie Classic to be held this fall at Kentucky Lake.

Lake Improvement Association Vice President Mark Piening presents NKTelco Media Sales Specialist Renee Lauth and NKTelco General Manager Preston Meyer with a sponsorship check for $2,500 for the Crappie USA Two-Day Tournament Super Event, to be held April 15-16, 2016 at Grand Lake St. Marys.
