Pontoon/Boat Decorating Contest
Decorate your pontoon or boat and enter to win at the 2013 Bar Stool Open! Judging will take place at Behm's Landing during the Bar Stool Open on Saturday, August 10, 2013. Winners will be announced at 1 p.m. Sunday, August 11, 2013 at Beach Point.
- 1st Place: $150
- 2nd Place: $100
- 3rd Place: $50
Judging will be determined by five criteria, each worth up to 10 points for a total possible score of 50 points:
1. Originality (10 points): How unique is your decoration? You don't want to look like anything else that's ever been seen on Grand Lake St. Marys!
2. Effort (10 points): Did you go all out with your decorations? The more effort you put in, the better your chance to win!
3. Humor (10 points): The Bar Stool Open is all about having a great time, so have fun with your boat decoration!
4. Overall Appearance (10 points): Make your decoration truly awesome to increase your chances of winning!
5. Bribe the Judges (10 points): The LIA judges are definitely open to bribes… come up with a fun and unique way to get them on your side!
