Milt Miller, Fund Raising Chairman of the Grand Lake St. Marys Restoration Commission, is shown accepting a check for $500 from Vic Cathcart, Shingle Shack, and Manager. Shingle Shack recently held a bowling tournament involving 18 local teams with the proceeds going to the Grand Lake Restoration Commission.
The money from the bowling tournament will be used to help finance the Eight Critical Action Priorities from The Grand Lake St. Marys Restoration Strategic Plan: Alum Treatment, Dredging Sediments, Beneficial use of Organic Waste, Treatment Train Establishment, Aeration and Circulation, Wetland Creations, Rough Fish Removal and Water Level Management.
