Grand Lake St. Marys State Park Manager Brian Miller recently shared 2012 highlights for the state park and Grand Lake St. Marys. It was a challenging year for the lake, and it's important to focus on the many positives that were accomplished.
- Alum – $5 million Application
- Arrival of “Brutus” – new suction dredge
- Dredge Production – 289,861 cubic yards
- Shoreline Protection – 1300 linear feet
- “Rough Fish” Removal – 3 new nets acquired
- East Bank Marina Launch Ramp renovations
- East Bank Dog Park established – opening spring 2013
- New Restroom constructed in State Park Campground
- Additional seawall & docks added in State Park Campground
- St. Marys Boat Club & Frey’s Launch Ramps lighting installed
- Road repairs Windy Point, West Bank, State Park Campground
